The White Pine that was used in the Surfboard came from the White Pine Trees that grew through the deck of the Pattison family cottage for over 40+ years. The trees had to be removed for safety reasons but the wood was saved to use in future projects such as this.

Woods have direct family ties to Bride & Grooms Lives as do the stone lids. The initials are carved into the box with crushed stone from location where wedding proposal was made. Stones from proposal location are also inset into the bottom of each box.
